I recently attended the Virginia Academy of Science conference, which met at Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg.  There were more than 150 PowerPoint presentations in 15 concurrent sections (including Natural History and Biodiversity). Many sections also organized poster presentations (more than 80 in all) that illustrated and described methods and results on 3 x 4 foot posters.

I presented 2 posters about my current studies. One is a genetic analysis of raccoons that live on the Virginia barrier islands; the other examines skeletal variation in gray squirrels and Eurasian red squirrels
