The Hooker Furniture Discovery Reef opened to the public in August 2010.  The Hooker Furniture Discovery Reef is a hands-on, interactive play and discovery area for children. The target age for the Discover Reef is 8 and under, although the interactive elements in the space accommodate children of all ages (including parents).

The centerpiece of the Discovery Reef is a wooden ship that serves as a hands-on play area for children. This ship features multiple decks and climbing areas, with an extensive interior play area.

Additional interactive elements in the Discovery Reef include a variety of books, games, and puzzles.
