Pamela Johns Talbott

Pamela Johns Talbott is a beadwork, feather appliqué and ceramics artist, and a Tribal Council member of the Monacan Indian Nation. She works in beadwork appliqué on buckskin and other materials, and she learned the traditional art of feather appliqué from a master elder craftsman. She has worked in ceramics for more than 10 years, painting and glazing objects with American Indian themes. Pam has participated extensively in events for the 2007 commemoration of Jamestown in Virginia as a dancer and artist. She demonstrated her beadwork at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C., and she is featured in the “Our Story” exhibit at the Lynchburg Fine Arts Academy.
