2010 Virginia Arbor Day Poster Contest

“Trees are Terrific…and Energy Wise!” is the theme for this years National Arbor Day Foundation Poster contest, open to all local 5th grade students. The contest is sponsored by the Virginia Museum of Natural History, the Virginia Department of Forestry, and the National Arbor Day Foundation.

School winners are entered in the state contest. The Virginia state grand prize winner and nine runners-up will receive prizes and be honored at the luncheon in May. The state grand prize winning poster will then go on to compete in the national contest, in which a first, second, and third place winner will be chosen to represent the nation.
