2010 Martinsville-Henry County Arbor Day Foundation Poster Contest

Trees are Terrific...and energy wise! is the theme for the 2010 Arbor Day Foundation Poster Contest.  This contest is open to all Martinsville and Henry County 5th grade students.  Area fifth grade teachers are encouraged to visit the 2010 Contest Guidebook on the Arbor Day Web site.  All students who enter will be recognized, with the top posters receiving prizes at a reception at the National Guard Armory.  Parents and teachers are welcome.

This contest is sponsored by Henry County Parks & Recreation, Martinsville Leisure Services, and the Virginia Museum of Natural History.

One poster from each school will be entered in the state competition.  Posters are due by Tuesday, March 2, 2010.  Please send entries to:
