Experience live snakes, turtles, lizards and more through exciting activities, exhibits, and children's crafts. Don't miss exciting and educational demonstrations by experts with live cobras, rattlesnakes and more. The 2nd Annual Reptile Day festival is Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Call 276-634-4141 or email information@vmnh.virginia.gov for more information. Special guests will include Mark Kilby, of the Luray Zoo, who will bring live snakes and aligators. Also on hand will be Jason Gibson, Virginia Herpetological Society, Dr. Richard Hoffman, curator of recent invertebrates at VMNH, as well as Keith Farmer, with L & K Reptile Programs.
