I recently hosted a group of students (cadets) from Virginia Military Institute.  The cadets are studying mammals this semester with faculty member Dr. Paul Moosman.  He wanted them to visit VMNH to see our research collections and exhibits. After I presented a short lecture on how museum collections are used in biological research, we visited the storage areas that house the VMNH bird and mammal collections.
