VMNH offers children ages 3 to 5 the opportunity to experience science and engineering first-hand with the Doodle Bugs! program. The hour-long programs include imaginative stories, fun activities, games and crafts that spark creativity and curiosity. They are the perfect opportunity for adults and grandparents to learn and have fun with their children! Programs are held at 10 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the month from September - May. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Doodle Bugs! is also available to daycare providers! A museum educator will visit your daycare to provide the Doodle Bugs! program on a day that suits your needs. Of course, the museum will also offer the program to your daycare here at the museum!
