What did you do this summer? The Education Dept Youth Volunteers put in over 460 hours volunteering this summer!

The youth played a major role in the summer camp program. They assisted educators with various daily camp activities and led games and crafts with the campers.

The fun doesn’t stop at the end of summer. The Youth Volunteer Program is a dedicated group of youth ages 13 to 18 that assist with a variety of educational offerings such as family festivals, birthday parties, community events, and animal care throughout the year. Volunteering at the museum is a great way to gain valuable work experience and count your time toward community service hours.

If you are interested in volunteering, email discover@vmnh.virginia.gov or call 634-4185 to learn more.
