Public Sleepovers

Interested in having your group participate in a museum sleepover?  Join us after hours for an exciting night of exploration with a special themed sleepover planned especially for you that is full of hands-on programs led by experienced museum educators. All sleepovers consist of a themed program, pizza dinner, evening snack, continental breakfast, certificate, and a 10% discount at our amazing gift shop.

Fees & Registration
Minimum fee of $675 ($45 x minimum of 15), each additional participant is $45.  One chaperone for every five children is complimentary.  Each additional adult is $15.  A non-refundable deposit of $25, together with a signed group agreement, is required 30 days prior to the visit.  Full payment, as well as signed permission and medical forms are due seven business days prior to the event.

Scout Sleepovers

After everyone has gone home and the doors have been closed for the evening, join us for an exciting night of exploration. Scouts can work on badge requirements through hands-on programs led by our experienced educators.  Scout sleepovers consist of a badge (or theme) program, pizza dinner, evening snack, continental breakfast, sleepover patch/certificate, and a 10% discount at our amazing gift shop.  (Note:  Due to time constraints, some requirements may not be completed.  We will discuss which requirements can be completed before your arrival.)

Badge Program Registration

Programs are conducted either on a Saturday or any weekday that schools are closed. Workshops are 1.5 to 3 hours in length depending on the topic and are held at local parks, state parks, or at the museum. Typically, our fee schedule is as follows:

  • 1.5 hour program - minimum payment of $56, each additional scout is $7.  1 adult per 10 scouts is complimentary, $3 for each additional adult.  A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required seven days prior to visit.
  • 3 hour program - minimum payment of $112, each additional scout is $14.  1 adult per 10 scouts is complimentary, $3 for each additional adult.  A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required seven days prior to visit.

$10 for ages 18-59
$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions
