October 20, 2017
Approximately 275 students from Collinsville Primary, Drewry Mason Elementary, Patrick Springs Primary, and Patrick Henry Elementary descended upon the museum on Friday, October 20 for hours of reptile and dinosaur fun! Students were able to view dozens of reptiles and were even allowed to touch a few! Reptile experts shared their knowledge about the cold-blooded creatures, while reminding students that the animals should not be feared, but respected.
Of course, no trip to a natural history museum would be complete without getting to see the dinosaurs! Students were allowed to explore the museum's dinosaur displays, including the special exhibit "Dinosaurs: Reign of the Giants".
