About
The Virginia Museum of Natural History's Mobile Science Outreach experience brings the museum to communities throughout the Commonwealth. Currently, the mobile unit - which contains exhibits and displays of a variety of specimens and materials from the museum's scientific collections - is stationed in downtown Waynesboro at the site of the museum's upcoming Waynesboro branch campus. The unit will remain located at this site until construction of the new facility is complete.
Days & Hours of Operation
The Mobile Science Outreach experience is currently scheduled to be open during select events in and around downtown Waynesboro. Additional dates and times will be listed here as they are announced. The unit is stationed at the site of the museum's upcoming Waynesboro Campus located at 215. W. Main Street.
