Dr. Elizabeth Moore, VMNH Curator of Archaeology, attending a meeting of the Council of Virginia Archaeologists at George Washington's Boyhood Home at Ferry Farm, was pleased to announce the publication of "The Historical Archaeology of Virginia From Initial Settlement to the Present:Overview and New Directions" edited by Dr. Clarence Geier. This joint project with the Archeological Society of Virginia provides valuable information for researchers, students, Virginia land managers, municipal planners, and archaeologists.

$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions

My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
