Dr. Joe Keiper (left), executive director of VMNH and expert forensic entomologist, is at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy today teaching law enforcement how to use forensic entomology as a tool in homicide investigations. Here, Dr. Keiper simulates a human death scene using pig remains. Don't worry, the pigs used in this excercise were salvaged from a pig farm...no harm was done to the animals.

FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
