Dr. Nancy Moncrief, curator of mammalogy, and Ben Williams, science administrator, are in Chatham, Virginia today for the 2019 SOVA Career Choice! They are talking to students about the type of work they do for the museum and what types of skills and education the students will need to pursue a museum career. Of course, they also brought a variety of museum specimens to show-off to the students!
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday - Monday: Closed
$10 for ages 18-59
$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
