The Virginia Museum of Natural History is currently seeking qualified candidates for two exciting, full-time, job positions. The museum is seeking candidates for:

Research Technician
We seek a dynamic individual to assist the Assistant Curator of Herpetology and the Curator of Mammalogy in conducting research, preparing and cataloging specimens, and performing field and laboratory work, as well as performing other day-to-day tasks related to preserving, documenting, and studying natural history specimens with a focus on the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Museum Experiences Manager
The Museum Experiences Manager will oversee the Virginia Museum of Natural History’s exhibits program, while also serving as the staff lead for graphic design and special publications. The Museum Experience Manager will also provide key support for marketing, events and strategic partnerships. The Museum Experiences Manager will report to the VMNH Deputy Director, and will be a key member of the Advancement department. The Advancement department includes the areas of marketing, development and exhibits.
