Students line-up to take part in a recycling activity at the museum during our annual Earth Day Student Day event, which provides students with hands-on educational experiences to become better stewards of our planet's environment. Nearly 200 students from Carver Elementary, Drewry Mason Elementary and Rich Acres Elementary, as well as homeschool students, will take part in the activities this morning and this afternoon.

Don't forget that the FREE Earth Day Festival will be held tomorrow at J. Frank Wilson Park behind the museum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.! The event will feature a large variety of games and crafts, as well live music by Kim and Jimbo Cary! Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather with your family tomorrow, Saturday, April 23!
