The entire Sanville Elementary School participated in Reptile Day Student Day 2014 at the museum on Friday, October 10. The school was able to attend thanks to the generous donations of the Sanville Ruritan Club, which funded the students' visit to the museum. Children were able to see 100's of live snakes and other animals, watch presentations by professional herpetologists and reptile experts, and participate in games and educational programming.

This Saturday, October 11, the museum is hosting Reptile Day 2014 at the museum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.! The event is open to the public at normal admission rates and features over 200 live snakes, turtles, and other reptiles and amphibians. Don't miss the special presentations of Mark Kilby at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., when he will bring out exotic reptiles, including a King Cobra! He will also have an special, festival ending performance at 3 p.m. for anyone unable to attend earlier in the day!
