You might very well be witnessing the most exciting changing of a light bulb in the history of VMNH! The museum is currently in the process of installing LED lighting throughout the facility as part of the museum's overall Combatting Climate Change (CCC) initiative, which aims to reduce the museum's carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency.

Additional projects that are part of the initiative include the installation of solar panels on the museum roof, installing electric vehicle chargers in front of the museum, enhancing the museum's insulation capacity, overhauling its HVAC system, and more!
