About the VMNH Foundation The VMNH Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists to support the mission and programs of the Virginia Museum of Natural History. Your support ensures that the Museum continues to accomplish its mission with new and exciting exhibits, important research and inspirational education for learners of all ages. With your support, the Museum will continue to make a lasting impression. Changing the way we look at our past - and our future. As a center for lifelong learning and a hub for tourism, the new Museum extends our reach to families, schools, visitors and businesses across the region. Our hands-on approach offers lessons about our world, our environment and our future in exhibits layered to meet at every level of learning.
