The Virginia Museum of Natural History is partnering with the American Museum of Natural History to present Science Bulletins, now playing at the entrance to the Uncovering Virginia exhibit gallery.

Presented by the American Museum of Natural History, Science Bulletins is a video program that brings visitors the latest developments in the fields of astrophysics, Earth science, biodiversity and human biology and evolution through documentary feature stories about scientists in the field and regular brief research updates using scientific visualizations and imagery. In the exhibition halls of the American Museum of Natural History and other museums and science centers throughout the world, Science Bulletins presents Astro, Earth, Human, and Bio Bulletins as updating streams of high-definition video content and interactive media.

All Science Bulletins content is produced through the collaboration of in-house writers, producers, and designers with the curatorial and scientific staff of the American Museum of Natural History. With its research staff of more than 200 scientists, and a history of original scientific research going back more than 130 years, AMNH partners with institutions worldwide to present the current state of scientific understanding. Primary among these are NASA and NOAA, which provide significant educational and programming support to Science Bulletins.

Currently showing at VMNH is Earth Bulletins, which delves into our planet's secrets, uncovering the dynamic systems that make Earth habitable.  Feature stories illustrate how scientists decipher Earth's geology and climate, and Snapshots report biweekly earthquake and volcanic activity that demonstrate the motion of Earth's tectonic plates. Seasonally updated data visualizations provide global views of our dynamic planet.
