Dr. Joe B. Keiper, executive director of the Virginia Museum of Natural History, provides an overview of the museum's mission and important service in the areas of research, collections, and education. As the state museum of natural history for the Commonwealth of Virginia, VMNH is the voice for all things natural history-related in Virginia.
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: Noon to 4pm (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend only)
Monday: Closed
$12 for ages 18-59
$6 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, members of ASTC Passport participating institutions, and EBT cardholders
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
