Dr. Elizabeth Moore, curator of archaeology, presented a lecture to students in the Historic Preservation Program at the University of Mary Washington earlier this week. Dr. Moore discussed the role of archaeology in historic preservation and how zooarchaeology contributes to our understanding of past cultures.
