Dr. Alton Dooley, Curator of Paleontology, and Ray Vodden, Research Technician, presented a casting demonstration at the Joseph Moore Museum at Earlham College in Indiana on Sept. 7. In addition to showing the public how to make fossil plaster casts, Dooley and Vodden will create a replica of the Joseph Moore Museum's fossil giant beaver for display in the VMNH Hall of Ancient Life.
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: Noon to 4pm (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend only)
Monday: Closed
$12 for ages 18-59
$6 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, members of ASTC Passport participating institutions, and EBT cardholders
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
