Students at Patrick Henry Elementary School in Martinsville received a special visit from VMNH Educator Terri Robertson and her entourage of museum critters today, when she presented the outreach program "Animal Needs" to the school's second grade classes!

Students had the opportunity to interact with several of the museum's live animals, such as Sheldon the painted turtle and Corny the corn snake, as well as some of the museum's resident Madagascar hissing cockroaches, while learning about life needs, characteristics, adaptations, and habitats!
