The museum is conducting a distance learning education program this morning with Indian River Middle School in Canaan, New Hampshire! Distance learning is quickly becoming a popular option for teachers who want to give their students the opportunity to experience museum education programs and resources without having to travel to the museum for an on-site visit. In these images, (L to R) Debbi Bryant, Denny Casey and Ally Lary host the program from within the Uncovering Virginia exhibit and discuss the fossilization process with the students via videoconferencing. To learn more about all of the distance learning opportunities the museum has to offer, please contact us at discover@vmnh.virginia.gov or call 276-634-4185 to ask for more information!
