The museum is partnering with wineries, meaderies, breweries and distilleries across the region for the upcoming Grapes & Grains fundraising gala on April 9, with proceeds to benefit vital museum programs in education, research and exhibits. Today's featured distillery is Franklin County Distilleries, in Boones Mill. It is believed to be Franklin County's first legal distillery since Prohibition. Franklin County Distilleries is owned by Dan Hodges, a physician who splits his time between Roanoke and Lafayette, Louisiana.
Come on out to Grapes & Grains on April 9 to test the best moonshine around! To learn more about Grapes & Grains, and to order your tickets online today, please visit http://www.vmnh.net/events/details/id/212.
