The museum is partnering with wineries, meaderies, breweries and distilleries across the region for the upcoming Grapes & Grains fundraising gala on April 9, with proceeds to benefit vital museum programs in education, research and exhibits. Today's featured winery is Stanburn Winery in Patrick County, Virginia. Stanburn Winery has more than 11 acres of grapes planted in its vineyard consisting of Chardonnay, Traminette, Cabernet Franc, and Barbera.
