This morning VMNH paleo was at the Solite Quarry on the Virginia-North Carolina border for the training field trip as part of the Master Naturalist training program. The fossil site is from the Triassic, about 225 million years old. Check it out!

Sunday: Noon to 4pm (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend only)

$12 for ages 18-59
$6 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, members of ASTC Passport participating institutions, and EBT cardholders
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
