Virginia Secretary of Natural Resources, Matthew J

Virginia Secretary of Natural Resources, Matthew J. Strickler, was at the Virginia Museum of Natural History April 25 meeting with VMNH leadership, as well as touring the museum's research areas and exhibit galleries! In these photos, Dr. Joe Keiper, executive director of VMNH, shows Secretary Strickler the holotype Eobalaenoptera fossils that are stored inside the museum's paleontology collections. Kathy Fell, a long-time museum volunteer, shows Secretary Strickler part of the collection that she and other museum volunteers have been diligently labeling this afternoon.
