We start our Wayne Theatre lecture series on the South River and region, jointly hosted by VMNH and the Center for Coldwaters Restoration. Dr Scott Eaton, professor at JMU and contributing editor and author of the VMNH publication 'Geology of Virginia' gives a talk on the Geology of the Shenandoah region.
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: Noon to 4pm (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend only)
Monday: Closed
$12 for ages 18-59
$6 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, members of ASTC Passport participating institutions, and EBT cardholders
My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
