FREE ADMISSION: Energy Efficiency Celebration

To celebrate the completion of the museum's energy efficiency project, the museum is opening its doors to the public for a day of free admission on Friday, November 11, 2022 (Veteran's Day), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Veterans who visit the museum this day and present their Veteran ID Card (VIC) at the box office will be gifted with two free passes to visit the museum on a future date through the end of 2023 in appreciation of their service!

The Virginia Museum of Natural History Board of Trustees Education and Public Programs Committee Meeting will take place on Friday, November 11 at 4 p.m. at the Virginia Museum of Natural History. No public comments will be taken at this meeting.

The Virginia Museum of Natural History is hosting a reception for museum members' and members of the museum's Board of Trustees to learn about the work being conducted by the museum's research and collections staff. No public comments will be taken.

Sunday - Monday: Closed

Admission:

$10 for ages 18-59
$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions

My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
