Suzanne Stryk - "Think Small" Art Workshops

Think Small”
Renowned nature artist, Suzanne Stryk, will share her observations and drawing techniques in two workshops geared toward children from ages 6 – 18.  Drawing insects will be the focus of her workshop, which offers ways to explore these amazing creatures.  She will demonstrate how to make a quick sketch followed by a detailed study and suggest ways to take notes to enhance observations.  The use of stereoscopes will help students see this small world even more clearly.
Both workshop sessions will be held on Friday, September 18 at the Virginia Museum of Natural History.

Register children ages 6 – 11 for the morning workshop to be held from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.

Register children ages 12 - 18 for the afternoon workshop to be held from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM.
