Pete Henika Memorial Fund

Established in 2018, the Pete Henika Memorial Fund supports high-impact research projects in the field of geology and other natural history disciplines. This endowment fund was made possible thanks to a $100,000 gift from Bill and Mary Jane Henika in honor of the late Pete Henika, brother of Bill.

Donations to the Pete Henika Memorial Fund allow the museum to fund impactful, field-based research on an annual basis and help further the museum’s role as a leader in scientific research in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Thank you so much for your support!
