A structure can be a building, a bridge, an arch, a sculpture – if it was constructed, it's a structure. Post your guess in the comment section here on the blog. Youth Curator Camp on Dec. 19 from 10 am to 3 pm is a fun opportunity for children ages 6 to 12 to experience a day of scientific adventure and discovery while parents finish up any last-minute holiday shopping! Campers will meet the museum's scientists and learn about real museum collections. There will be demonstrations of the casting and molding program, with children having the opportunity to create, paint and take home their very own fossil cast! In addition to these unique activities, campers will enjoy pizza and a movie in the museum's Suzanne M. Lacy Education Center. Price: $30 per camper (VMNH Members receive a 10% discount!) My 4 year old son loves going to the museum. The exhibits are educational, interactive and kid-friendly.
