Staff held a retirement luncheon inside the Hall of Ancient Life this afternoon to honor Dr. Judith Winston, curator of marine biology, for over two decades of tremendous service to the museum. In addition to her service as curator, Dr. Winston has held a variety of leadership roles throughout her career at VMNH, including serving as interim executive director. The museum greatly appreciates everything Dr. Winston has done in helping it become one of the most respected natural history museum's in the nation! More photos to follow soon!
