Today, the museum received a $1,000 grant from the Community Impact Funds of the Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia in support of the museum's "Reptile Festival Community Engagement" initiative! The funds will help the museum provide incredible performers and exhibitors during the 2020 Reptile Festival, which will be held June 12-13 at the museum!

Thank you, Emma! Today was Emma Clark's last day interning with the museum's education department. Emma, a senior at Roanoke College, was a tremendous help in recent months for the museum's education staff, helping instruct a variety of educational programs and completing administrative tasks, including creating several educational programs that will become part of the museum's next education guide offerings!
