Happy Holidays from everyone (and everything) at VMNH! We hope you've had a wonderful 2018 and will have an even better 2019! If you are planning to visit over the holidays, please remember that the museum is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Otherwise, our normal operating hours of Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. apply. We hope to see you here at the museum!

The holidays haven't arrived until Clawd puts on the Santa hat! Clawd is giving a festive welcome to all museum visitors this holiday season, including tonight, as the museum serves as host for the Martinsville Henry County Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours event!

We had a great time hosting these amazing students from Campbell Court Elementary today! The kindergartners received tours of the museum exhibits and learned how to investigate like a scientist during the educational program, "Scientific Investigations: The 5 Senses". The visit was made possible by a grant provided to the museum by the Harvest Foundation, which allows VMNH to provide free educational programming to elementary and middle school students in Martinsville and Henry County! Thanks Harvest Foundation!
