The Virginia Museum of Natural History has published "The Marine Bryozoans of the Northeast Coast of the United States: Maine to Virginia." This publication, co-authored by Dr. Judith E. Winston and Dr. Peter J. Hayward, is the museum's 11th memoir, and is now available for purchase for $39 online at www.vmnh.net, in the VMNH Museum Store, or by calling 276-634-4141 ext. 4319. Dr. Judith E. Winston is curator of marine biology at the Virginia Museum of Natural History in Martinsville, Virginia. Dr. Peter J. Hayward is honorary research fellow at Swansea University in Wales, United Kingdom.

The Virginia Museum of Natural History is open to the public on Sundays from May 27 to September 2, 2012 as part of its "Summer Discovery 2012" program. In addition to the Sunday openings, the museum is offering reduced admission and $10 off any new VMNH Memberships.
