Thurman Charitable Foundation awards $5,000 grant to VMNH

The Edgar A. Thurman Charitable Foundation for Children has awarded the Virginia Museum of Natural History (VMNH) a grant of $5,000 in support of the museum's Year of the Engineer initiative to provide need-based, STEM education programming to area K-6 students during the 2025-26 academic school year.

$5 for ages 3-17, seniors 60+, and college students
FREE for children under 3, museum members, and members of ASTC participating institutions
