HOMESCHOOL PARENTS AND TEACHERS! The museum is hosting a Homeschool Open House on Wednesday, August 16 from 10 a.m. to noon! The event is designed to give participants the opportunity to learn about the museum and its homeschool education programs, as well as the opportunity to meet the museum's educators. There's no need to sign-up. Just stop by and learn how the museum can provide exceptional STEM programming for your children and students throughout the upcoming school year! We had a blast hosting nearly 200 students from the Summer Residential Governor's School for Mathematics, Science, and Technology today at the museum! Museum curators, research staff, and research interns provided hands-on programming, covering topics in paleontology, archaeology, mammalogy, and invertebrate zoology throughout the day.
